For those guests not familiar with this type of Aztec bath, the temazcall is a stone iglu where inside, hot local stones (among them: copal, lime stone) are placed in the center with mayan herbs, and aroused with water, in order to get the steam and aroma, it is a very traditional ritual practiced for hundreds of years by the prehispanic cultures and allows the people to renovate their spirit and purify the body, it is quite a unique experience !
