We just returned from Tulum and I wanted to thank you for your help arranging our trip. We had the BEST time. We ended up staying at Ana y Jose’s the whole time b/c a room opened up so we did not have to go to PDC.
The staff was great, specifically, Renee, Roger and Carlos. The food, the beach, the ruins, the cenotes… were all fantastic…way better than expected. We are already planning a return in ’05 (around June). I was disappointed you were not around (I guess you work up in Cancun) – I would have liked to thank you in person. Maybe next time? Also, maybe you could help me with something else? I was interested in buying a Ana y Jose t-shirt but they were out while we were there. Is there any way you could help me get one? Of course I would pay the shipping, etc

Dear Ana Y Jose,
Sometimes when you find a hotel on the internet, you can't really be sure
that it is all it says it is until you actually stay there. We want to tell
you that our stay at Ana Y Jose exceeded our expectations.
Our recent visit over the Easter holidays proved to be exactly what we were
looking for. The property is beautiful, casually elegant. You feel like you
are in a postcard of paradise. We were able to meet the owner Alfredo Soto
who was a most gracious host, and combined with his world class chef and
crew convinced us to return to dine at the restaurant even after we had
checked out of the property. The imaginative menu was accented with
delicious yucutan specialties. Everything from the coffee to the home made
ice cream was fabulous.
Our suite really gave us a sense of adventure with its high palapa roof and
balcony made from what looked like local wood, beautifully rustic, yet with
modern beds and furnishings that lived up to our standards. The conch shell
shower head was delightful.
The beach at Ana Y Jose looked to us to be the best one along that whole
stretch of hotels...absolutely perfect!
Note: be prepared not all suites have air conditioning and it can be quite
warm in the tropics!
Rest assured that we will return!

We want to thank you for helping us arrange our trip to Tulum. Our decision to stay at Ana y Jose, was one we will never forget. During our search for the perfect place to stay, we ran across this little gem on trip advisor. From just the photos I knew this was the place for us; a place to get away from it all, a place to sip cool drinks on a warm beach, a place that was not overrun with tourists.
From the moment our driver, Pablo, picked us up at the airport in our rental car, we knew we had made a wise decision. El Suite del Deseo was perfect with breathtaking ocean views. Everyone at the hotel was wonderful to us; our driver, Pablo;, Rene who checked us in; Margarita who always made sure we were comfortable; Roman, the best waiter we encountered during our entire stay; we could not have asked for better service!
Attached is a photo that I took of the beach at Ana y Jose. I belive it captures the true essence of your hotel; picture perfect serenity. Everyone that sees the photo says the same thing "Is that a real photo?" Just from seeing it, 10 people have asked to join us next year when we go back to Ana Y Jose! Please feel free to pass the photo on to the hotel owners. They are welcome to use it if they wish, I would be honored. Thank you and everyone at the hotel for the wonderful memories.
