Ana y José Hotel & Beach Club {{noticia.nombre}} in Tulum

On March 27, the entire team of Ana and José woke up motivated and with a great purpose, to clean one of the main roads of Tulum.


The meeting point was at the 7 Eleven minisuper located at the intersection of the highway with Cobá Avenue. We put on the shirt, the gloves and the mask, we were happy to contribute with small actions that together do a big change. Throughout 3km we were collecting all kinds of waste, from cigarette butts to car parts. Our purpose was very clear, to collect as much garbage as possible.

All the members of the different work teams such as food & beverage, management, security, quality among others were participants in the cleaning. It took us approximately from 2 to 3 hours to make the road have a better image towards tourists. We used more than 20 garbage bags, in total we collected 450 kg or garbage, which were transferred to the hotel for their subsequent separation and recycling of the different materials.

We will continue working on Social and Environmental Responsibility campaigns taking care of nature and preserving our destination.
